George Wolfe Plank (1883-1963), illustrator, was a self-taught artist and from 1907-09 was one of the editors and printers of The Butterfly Quarterly, published in Philadelphia. Hunter was part of the American Arts and Crafts Movement, and a member of Elbert Hubbard's Roycrofters in East Aurora, NY, in 1904. He devoted his life to research, collecting, writing, and publishing the history of hand papermaking and printing. In 1887 Cram joined with Charles Wentworth to open an architectural office (Cram and Wentworth) in Boston. In 1891 Bertram G. Goodhue joined them.
